Eco-Core® Smoked Solid Timber
These are solid hardwood made of European Oak smoked to dark colours. The solid timber undergoes a special smoking process, a method that can attain an even and consistent dark colour to the heart or core of the timber. It is a new way architects and designers can achieve a look similar to dark coloured hardwoods using European Oak.

The Eco-Core® Smoked European Oak is E1 Certified.
Specifications
The Smoked Solid Timber is available in lengths approximately 3000mm - 5200mm, widths 300mm - 600mm and in 52mm thick.
This product can be used as facings laminated to E1 Certified Eco-Core® Poplar Blockboard or White Birch Multiply and is ideal for doors, wall paneling and more.
This is also available in a Natural European Oak (non smoked.)

Benefits
The Smoked European Oak is supplied in complete logs, so that if used for large tables or similar, the architect or designer can have "book matched" solid smoked timber for their projects.
