Eco-Core® Smoked Solid Timber
These are solid hardwood made of European Oak smoked to dark colours. The solid timber undergoes a special smoking process, a method that can attain an even and consistent dark colour to the heart or core of the timber. It is a new way architects and designers can achieve a look similar to dark coloured hardwoods using European Oak.

The Eco-Core® Smoked European Oak is E1 Certified.
Specifications
The Smoked Solid Timber is available in lengths approximately 1800mm - 3000mm, widths 150mm - 300mm and in 52mm thick. These are supplied in premium quality square sawn slicer boards.
This product can be used as table tops, cabinetry or as facings laminated to Eco-Core Poplar Blockboard or White Birch Multiply, ideal for doors, wall paneling and more.
This is also available in a Natural European Oak (non smoked.) These are supplied in block cut rough sawn timber.
The Smoked and Natural solid timbers are natural products and therefore will have natural variances in colour, grain and overall appearance. These are not classified as defects.

Benefits
The Smoked European Oak is supplied in complete logs, so that if used for large tables or similar, the architect or designer can have "book matched" solid smoked timber for their projects.
